Suckers

 

Suckers (psyllids) are the flattened and immature nymphs of small, aphid-like, winged insects. They can affect plants such as bay (Laurus nobilis) and Box (Buxus) as they suck the sap and damage foliage. Bay leaves become thickened, yellow and curled at the margins, eventually drying up and becoming brown, whilst box plants become stunted.

Control

Remove and burn infested leaves or shoots immediately.
