Physiological Disorders in Plants

If placed in unsuitable conditions, plants will become stressed and unhealthy, and vulnerable to pest and disease damage. Plants should always be positioned in growing conditions suitable for their needs, and care should be taken that they receive enough water, yet do not become waterlogged. They may also need to be protected during very hot weather to prevent scorching, and in very cold weather to avoid damage by frost.
